Slight modification
I got a marking tool and used it with good results. However, I found the pin hole to be too narrow to easily change pins when needed. I solved the problem by drilling a slightly oversized hole about 1/3 deep on each end, leaving the center intact. The pencil still holds tight and is much easier to change when needed.
