I got this to replace the old Mr. Bubbles pump I have been using for years with live minnows and shrimp. Every few year I have to replace the bubble box because the diaphragm cracks, or the actuator arm corrodes and breaks, or I accidently left batteries in it over the winter and they crapped up the battery terminals.This little guy is the ticket! It is rechargeable, so no more expensive D batteries. It lasts about 18-20 hours on a charge. If you are on a boat with a USB charger port, it can run as long as your big batteries last, so basically forever. It is whisper quiet compared to the old bubble boxes we have all used. If you use it all day, plug it in to recharge and use it all day tomorrow, and the next day, and the next. Doing that with the D battery type would cost you $30 in batteries alone. This is WAY worth the money.
