Excellent dampers. Be sure to remove the included straps only after you have installed the top bolt and seated the damper into the lower mounting post, otherwise the damper will expand and you could cut the strap. The shock absorber is under pressure and lengthens as shown in the picture. It's not fun to recompress it to fit the mount. (See photos) Of course it changed my 2008 Silverado. I didn't have any mounting hardware included, so I used the OEM screws with no problem.
