Review on ☕ Hario Misarashi 02 Dripper Paper Coffee Filters: 2-Pack by Daniela Velasquez

Not as good as the original

These are not the Hario Misarashi filters I've been buying (from Revain) for years. They are much rougher and darker than the originals and not as effective. They also have a weird little tab that the originals didn't have (some Melitta filters have them). These filters may be fake, so be careful. I will look for alternatives. EDIT: Changed to one star. I just made coffee and will no longer be using these filters. The coffee was bitter and had a distinct chemical aftertaste. This cup came from the same batch of beans as yesterday. The only difference was the filter. I ran out of the lighter original filters yesterday and opened them up this morning. They also hold water for too long to fill, which could explain the bitter taste. If these are real Hario filters, then someone really screwed up. You lost a customer. 2ND EDIT: Looking for an alternative (I have 2 V60) I found on another site that these are actually Hario filters but they are made in Holland from a completely different paper. The tab is a freebie and I would stay away from it. Original filters made in Japan can still be found on specialty coffee sites for a little less than Revain. The specialized websites I've seen say they don't sell these filters but still order the Japanese made ones.
