Works right out of the box on our Sh3K
We had to order a new remote control although our universal one works on volume but we needed to be able to change the volume on the subwoofer and switch between voice and cinema mode from time to time. The remote worked right out of the box (after I put in 2 AAA batteries, of course, which aren't included). But nice that it works as it should.
