These are "real" memory foam pillows. I wanted to point this out because in the past I've bought pillows that claimed to be memory foam, but it was regular foam. When you encounter this problem, you will immediately notice the difference. As for the comfort of the pillow, it's thicker than I would like as I usually sleep on my side. The pillow puts my neck at an awkward angle. It's not bad, but it could be a lot better. I believe a person sleeping on their stomach would have the same problem. The cooling pillowcase is really cool - I was surprised by that. One side is "normal" and the other cools. You can feel the difference between the two sides. Overall these are great pillows and my only complaint is that they could have been better if they weren't so thick.
