Review on GE 18275 Phenolic Socket Black by Elmito Yeager

There is a three-way floor lamp in the office where I work. A few weeks ago the original switch/socket started to fail, had to fiddle with it, light it, close it. I decided to find the right one here at Revain rather than locally because I knew that was exactly what I needed would find what I wanted. Whoever asked the question here as to whether the screws on this one are on the bottom of the socket or on the sides. Although all the answers I received said it was the underside, the jack I received had mounting screws on the side of the jack, not the underside. I was just asking about an old outlet that I was replacing, had mounting screws all the way down and I was worried the side ports wouldn't work because there wouldn't be room to screw everything together. The screws on the side are countersunk and the socket has slid down and screwed in there well. A little snug but still light enough. A quick look at Home Depot's website didn't show anything of the sort at the moment, and the price here was very reasonable. Overall, this worked great for me. Ordered on Thursday and arrived on Saturday with Prime. recommended.
