Very nice modern plywood stand. The finish is a very nice maple. It is well balanced and thought through to the smallest detail. The curved shelf that the laptop sits on has ventilation holes cut in parallel lines to keep the laptop cool. I have 13.3. He has an MS Surface Book with him and it fits well. It looks very elegant and raises the laptop closer to eye level for better ergonomics. The shape also provides a useful cutout under a laptop to slide in a desktop keyboard and small dock or hub. There is a cut-out hole for cable routing on the back of the device. The only suggestion I would make would be to add some rubber pads to the laptop shelf. The Surface Book is a 2-in-1, so the feet are a bit small, allowing it to slide a little more than you'd like. This might not be an issue for another big-legged laptop, so I wouldn't downgrade it (just a suggestion). In general very satisfied. Like a good Grovemade, but at a much cheaper price. Highly recommended.
