The alignment hole for the engine mount was slightly offset so I had to enlarge the hole in the door to keep the mechanism from binding . The package included an adapter with instructions for cars built before August 2005 to change the polarity of the switch. something I wasn't expecting but it only took me a minute to grasp and comprehend. I was glad it was included as my truck required an adapter. Installation was easy thanks to the youtube video. The block works great. It comes with a lifetime guarantee so I'll just have to wait before I can comment on durability. Otherwise, I'm glad to be able to raise and lower my window again!
