I did it! ❤️: my feedback

Stenciling is a lot of work, But if you have the time, it’s worth it! You get better as you go along. I am very happy with my results. Plan to spend a lot of time on this project. Most of the work is the preparation. But that is what will make my new floor last. I watched dozens of YouTube videos on stenciling. I also watched several videos on painting tile. They were very informative. I first purchased quality products like this.stencil. I didn’t use the spray on adhesive, but just taped it down with blue painters tape.Important Tip! Make sure the paint you use is the chalk type. I bought a very expensive can ($38 a quart) of it after I had terrible results from using a cheap flat white paint. It runs all over under your stencil. The more expensive paint was worth every penny. Watch the YouTube videos, you also have to dab your roller or brush on a paper towel so it doesn’t run.I really love the design, classic looking. I am so pleased with the look of stenciling that I plan on doing more, starting with my front porch. If you have the time, go for it! It makes a dramatic difference.
