This does the job of giving our patio steps more support so our pups don't slide sideways when turning a corner. But be aware that the other reviewers who mentioned crappy glue are right. When we first laid it down it started bubbling and moving with the first rain. However, you can work around this by placing brackets around the edge at each end. When it rains there are still blisters under each strip, but we had no slippage. The steps are illuminated by the bright afternoon sun, which we've done very well so far.
