We use coarse plywood. 80 and 120 allow us to quickly deal with 320. 1, 80 and 1-120 on a 32 square sheet. ft. 1-320 prepares them for painting. good value for money. Haven't tried thinner rims yet but expect the same value from them. Don't be afraid to buy these discs. Rotating and vibrating used!
