Able to adjust top width separate from bottom width
We needed a gate at the bottom of an open staircase. The newel posts provide the sides, but were larger on the bottom (causing a narrower opening), so the gate needed to be smaller on the bottom than the top. This one was easy to install and provided good closure across the opening. The gate was easy to operate even when holding a squirming toddler.
