I liked this product on the beach. I have two small children (3 and 5 years old) and they mostly stand by the sea. This production was great because they could stand at the edge of the ocean and do something other than just dig in the sand. I ended up buying two surfers and it was absolutely worth the money. My kids played with their surfers on the beach every day. They enjoyed watching him swim in and then run over to grab him to throw again. In the seven days we used the surfer, I only had to go into the ocean once to catch it because it swam past where the waves were breaking. If your kids drop off a surfer, just make sure he doesn't pass where the waves are breaking and he'll keep coming back.
