If filled correctly at the brewery or dispenser, your beer can remain fresh for up to 2 weeks if kept cold and not opening. The seal on the cap is so great, if you pour a glass and immediately reseal you can enjoy beer for another 3-5 days. The key is not to leave the cap off more than a few seconds after the pour otherwise you lose carbonation. I purchased this so I could share with my kids and have great beer available always. I now own 5 of these stainless steel growlers.
