This bassinet saved our sleep. After about 3 weeks of life, my daughter decided that she had a lot of hate. I hate packing and playing bassinet. Hate swaddling. I hate sleeping more than a foot away from me or my husband. We had to try to sleep in the same bed to get some sleep. It's been a tough couple of weeks. I tried to order another cot but it never arrived. This one is worth it. Can be attached to the bed very well. The mattress is firm enough to be secure but comfortable enough for a child to sleep comfortably on. The wheels don't move very well on the carpet, but we can still move it from room to room. It took a while to assemble as the instructions weren't detailed enough for us, but we did it. We even took it on a trip and used it in a hotel and although it was tight it fit in my medium/small trunk along with the stroller. To be honest, I wish I had this bassinet while I was recovering from my caesarean rather than in the package. It's a lot easier to just turn around and pick her up when she starts crying or needs to be fed. At 3 months she is still in her cradle and doesn't move even when she rolls over on her stomach. I am so sad that she will soon be able to get on all fours and we will have to save her for the next baby because I will miss the nightly feedings. I would definitely recommend this to parents who want to follow the guidelines that say babies should sleep in the same room as their parents for the first 6 months to reduce the risk of SIDS. He feels safe, secure and comfortable. Love it!
