Review on LG SPD75A 3 1 2 Output Resolution by Roberto Cohen

Really disappointed.

For the price, you'd expect some of the best sound you'll ever hear, but it's not. There's even HDMI ports, so it was connected via optical, but it sounds better than that. The soundbar and subwoofer look really impressive when you look at them, but that's pretty much all it has to offer. The sound isn't great, the bass through the subwoofer is just strong but not crisp and crisp and you don't feel it, it just rumbles in place when it's too harsh but sounds muffled. And actually it's not even that strong because I did a bass test and it didn't go below 25Hz. The band itself doesn't sound very good. In fact, there isn't much of a difference from the TV speakers. And this is my first time trying out Dolby Atmos so I wasn't sure what to expect but I've never heard anything about or around me as claimed. The sound actually seems to be coming from the front, under the TV where the soundbar was, I never noticed any difference in spatial sound or anything and Atmos was active because the display said Atmos. I've tried Netflix and some Xbox games. I then used Alexa to play music through my phone and that didn't impress either. Tiny sound with booming bass only audible when I'm close to the subwoofer. Also, it's not that smart since it doesn't change the inputs itself. I have an Xbox connected directly to it via the HDMI port and when I turn on the Xbox the soundbar always stays in ARC. On the other hand, the app is great and easier to use than the remote control. You will need an app to do the calibration as there is no other way to do it. And another good thing is that it has many features including support for DTS:X which I liked more when I was playing on Xbox I heard noises I had never heard before which it didn't and when I used Atmos. So I'm really disappointed with what it offers for the price.
