used to run a cycle on a 40 cultivator drilled with a 20 long sump. It seems the cycle time has increased, I'm still in the nitrite phase and I'm about 3 weeks, maybe only about a month, actually I'm not entirely sure. I added dead crab on day one and added some food to create waste in the system and started dosing it. this got me into a nitrite cycle pretty quickly, the ammonia didn't last all that long. I would say based on testing I'm almost done with nitrites. they fall little by little. This is a bare bottom ad, but I have a lot of live rock. Sand can be found in the furnace part of the swamp along with bioceramic bricks. so i guess its not technically a full bare ass. although things are going well
