Like most others who have purchased this blanket, I have trouble sleeping. My problem has always been that no matter how much sleep I get, I always wake up exhausted and have no energy during the day. In fact, since using it for the first time, I can wake up refreshed for the first time in years. Even on days when I sleep less than usual, I don't get as tired as without a blanket. I will say that I do not use a bedspread. I found that while the cover is very soft and comfortable, the duvet doesn't distribute weight as evenly as it did without it. However, I have read that this is a common problem and does not apply to this blanket. I've been using this blanket for a few months now and I still think the quality is very good. It may or may not help you, but it's worth it.
