This thing is so awesome, I immediately bought this as a first part for my new bike! I did not install it, I had my local shop do it so I can’t speak to the installation on both my bikes. It’s super sturdy and looks great! The charging port works fine, but I use it simply as a lighter so I don’t have to pull off to smoke. The lighter it comes with sucks. It’s a cheap thing that vibrated apart within 400 miles. You can buy a simple cigarette lighter from an auto parts store as a replacement (I always kept a spare in my saddlebag. I eventually just took my dads actual motorcycle cigarette lighter off his Electra Glide haha! Car cigarette lighters just aren’t made for the Harley vibration.) If you find the port suddenly not working, it’s the fuse! The 15 amp fuse that’s already in it blows fairly quickly. not sure why they don’t just put the 20 amp spare it comes with in it in the first place. I suppose you could save yourself some headache by just putting in the 20 amp when you install it. The only reason I didn’t give it the 5 stars is because of the cheap lighter it comes with.
