Unit works as described. However, the battery lasts about 2 hours before it needs to be recharged. It appears to perform fairly well when plugged into a charger, but limited instructions indicate readings won't be accurate if constantly charged. At this point I'm leaving it plugged into the charger. I have a problem with the shipping of the item. It is said to be a fairly fragile electronic device. It came unassembled with no packaging whatsoever in a box more than twice the size of the instrument itself. I was surprised it even worked.
