Update: I deducted 1 star because the fingerprint sensor is still the same as the SG S10. In the last 9 months I have changed my daily driver from a Samsung S10+ to Pixel 4XL to One Plus 8 Pro and am now on this Note 20 Ultra. The S10+ plus's fingerprint reader was so annoying that switching to Pixel's secure face unlock was a relief. The 'pure' Android experience on the Pixel is undeniably Android's finishing touch. But over time, I grew bored with my dislike of the Pixel's weak battery and lack of an ultra-wide camera. Sign in to OnePlus 8 Pro. Fast Google-quick updates, clean interface, ultra-fast fingerprint unlock, great battery. But OnePlus. Despite its popularity as a relative outsider, it is a niche smartphone. I have checked the Google, Apple and Samsung exchange programs and none of them accept the OnePlus product. Again, the OnePlus 8 Pro is a great phone, although its camera has some flaws and the battery life could be a bit better. Imagine the Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G. Samsung basically took the complaints about the S20 Ultra and fixed them with the Note 20 Ultra. Zoom and auto focus. U/I are well polished. Samsung has plenty of time to improve it. While the Note 20 doesn't have Android 11 like the Pixel and OnePlus, Samsung's focus on a polished user interface that allows users to take advantage of the Note's impressive hardware and features is a complete synergy. Also, some review sites berate the Note 20 Ultra's battery life. I'll tell you now, in my experience it's significantly better/longer than the OnePlus 8 Pro that most of these reviewers praised. It's been a journey with a phone for me, but I ended up going back to Samsung as the Note 20 Ultra 5G - it's just perfection. Also thanks to Revain for their "updated" program. Got a great deal on this phone and it arrived brand new out of the box. Revain extends its promise by 90 days, plus you have Samsung's manufacturer's warranty. Deal with it!
