I have bought these several times for my WP Griffin who has spine problems and weak back legs. Since we have parquet floors, they have been our lifesavers. They prevent him from slipping and make it easier for him to get up from a lying position. We only need them on his hind legs. They don't last forever so we have to replace them every 2-4 weeks or so, but they can be washed (just don't tumble dry). Eventually his nails will break, but even that isn't fatal as it only provides some breathing space. We don't wear them for short walks, but otherwise he wears them all the time. It took a little getting used to, but now he's perfectly happy with it. Knows the drill when we put them on. They are a cheap solution to a really difficult problem and help me decide against painful, expensive and unreliable spine surgery.
