Review on Haicam IP Camera E21: Enhanced Home Security Surveillance with End-to-End Encryption, 2 Way Audio, Motion Sound Detection, and Free Cloud Service by Michael Liguori

I bought this camera to monitor my elderly parents at night while they sleep. Installation was quick and easy. Night vision and image quality are very good. However, when using the Windows 10 app, the camera would repeatedly stop recording during the night and I had to get up, go to the main menu and restart the camera, which then reconnected and worked fine until it disconnected again. Also, the Windows 10 app window is not resizable and the camera display is quite small. I contacted the company about issues with the Windows 10 app and they reminded me that the Windows 10 app is a beta version (work in progress). In my opinion, an application that is a buggy beta should be advertised as a beta. Using the camera with Windows 10 was one of the reasons I bought this camera. For testing purposes, I installed the camera app on an Android tablet and had no connection loss issues. Hence, it seems that the Windows 10 app is not working very well. If you are using this camera with a Windows 10 computer I would look elsewhere. However, if you plan on using this with an Android device, you should be fine. Customizable motion detection zones would be a very useful feature.
