The lighting on my deck with these looks really great. They are just the right magnitude of brightness. The tops are a bit hard to pry off to first set up or later to change batteries. Haven't had them long enough to give a response on battery life. The mounting screws that come with these are made from very weak material; diecast, aluminum, or something and will snap if you try to simple screw them into the wood of a fence or deck. You will need to drill pilot holes first or you will be cussing. All in all, I am very pleased with their illumination and appearance. Solar charging feature seems to be working fine, Thumbs up for once for me. Update 10/8/22: These lights are still going strong after one month, visually stunning and luminescent; enough to not need the porch light on. Recommend these to anyone looking for subtle lighting options.
