I originally bought these because they are an old school brand and because they are woofers. I installed them in my car for Christmas to increase the volume of broken tailgate speakers and I was amazed when I installed them. My car shakes so much. I have more head turns than before. I flipped them a few days later and they hit harder. I love them and after a month of heavy use they sound just like I took them out of the box. They're great as a cost-effective solution for standard calls, no matter what kind of music you listen to. It is suitable for a person who listens to different types of music. By the way, I didn't connect an amplifier! Update (6/9/2015): I recently bought four more from Sonic Electronicx, not from here. Mainly for faster delivery. After installing them with my new head unit and wiring, my car got so loud these things made so much bass. The sound quality is so rich for average woofers. I did a bass test and my neighbor hears it in his house and it really pissed me off. You want cheap bass, Thai for you!
