Although the 50 amp locking plug (NEMA SS2-50R) has a center pin and the socket on my RV doesn't, this was only a minor issue. I searched google and found a comment that the pin is removable and its main purpose is to be a guide pin for generators. I used a dremel tool to cut off the center pin, now the connector fits. Of course, I'm pretty sure I killed any warranty by cutting off the pin. The cable looks well made and is pretty solid to look at. If I come across any issues or concerns I will update this post.
