I have a very narrow desk (only 17 1/2 inches deep) and my right arm was constantly hurting in my shoulder and on the right side of my neck from dangling my entire right arm in the air. only my wrist is supported by the table and mouse pad. My loving husband was about to try to build me something but he decided to see if there was already a solution and lo and behold, there is! Modify the base to match my desk and have the drawer open, but it's an old, dented desk and I don't mind if this part stays bolted to the top edge. I like that the armrest has little rubber tabs to cushion my elbow and how it can pivot as far as it takes, for comfort I can pivot it parallel to the front of the table if I step back just a bit, or just pivot it remove without tools in half a second and stick the armrest in the drawer until next time i will need it. Now my husband can stop bothering me to buy a new desk if I don't want to until we buy a new house haha! I only need one but they come in a set of 2 for the same price. A unique product, thought through to the smallest detail. Would buy again.
