Review on 🗑️ Commodore 10-US-CD-4100-AP Garbage Disposal: Apartment Pack in Black - Efficient Waste Disposal Solution by Mike Palma

I only received the garbage chute 2 days ago. I ordered it on Sunday at 9pm and received it on Tuesday afternoon so my super saver shipping was very fast. When I received it I tested it and it seemed pretty solid to me. Doesn't feel cheap as the price suggests. The box contained a dispenser, a rubber splash guard, a drain plug, a PVC elbow, and a metal plate and screws to attach the nozzle to the grinder's outlet. I installed it last night and it was very easy. The part that attaches to the sink only requires plumber's putty ($2 at your local hardware store) to install. Once this is installed, the unit features a simple locking mechanism that securely attaches the grinder to the sink. Then just redirect the lines as needed, apply some power and you're good to go. Since I finally wanted to use the switch for myself, I converted the 2-way socket next to the sink into a switch-socket unit. . I then routed the cord from the power switch down the wall under the sink. I was able to cut the connector and expose the black, white, and green wires (black=HOT, white=neutral, green=ground) and attached them to my other wire with wire caps and tape. After all this was done, I got a very good, very powerful and quite quiet garbage chute. I say "fairly quiet" because it's significantly quieter than the one my parents had, but certainly not as quiet as some of the newer and much more expensive ones. However, I don't usually run my slide all the time, so it doesn't bother me too much. ^_^ The key for me was that this shredder should resist corrosion compared to others that rust over time. By the way, the packaging says that the guarantee is 3 years. I hope it lasts longer but I don't think I will have any problems. If you are unsure whether to trust this garbage chute, I would suggest giving it a try. For me, this one was one of the cheapest yet more powerful than the others. The anti-corrosion treatment was also a plus. I'm very impressed with it and for the price and performance it's definitely a great deal. If I run into any issues with this I'll definitely update my review, especially since I installed it less than a day ago. If I don't answer, it's because it's still running. ^_^
