Forget wrenches in the car. That's the real deal. Enhanced for real leverage. I have to change wheels a few times a year and this is the best way to break the lugs so they can be unscrewed by hand. Don't use it to tighten though and make sure you loosen it in the right direction as you can apply too much torque with a retractable lever and snap the threads. I also recommend buying a good torque wrench. But the thing is great if you want to crack a stubborn nut. You can start short to reduce leverage and see if that's enough, and lengthen if necessary.
