205/55/16, operation 2 seasons (14000+ km), city mode (MSK). Long chose and read reviews. Someone wrote that they were so-so, and someone supposedly drove 160 km / h in the rain (certainly this size does not shine). Due to the very good impressions from my previous Yokohama S. Drive tires, I decided to choose another Yoku. By the way, the old S. Drive were tough, but great - on them on 05/18/2022 on M11 in the heaviest downpour of my life (with a mileage of 40+ thousand km), I kept a speed of 100-105 km / h very confidently, cutting through a continuous layer water. The same V105 - driving at speeds above 95 km / h in the rain is extremely uncomfortable, even on new ones! I tested these tires a lot in the rain - city, TTK, MKAD, highway. Conclusion: V105 are extremely weak in heavy rain weather. If you don’t drive more than 70 km / h in the rain, then perhaps these tires are for you. And if you are a fan of a quiet quiet ride - too. I did not expect rain performance from these tires, but I did not think that it would be so mediocre. It would be better to take Toyo TR1 with open side grooves. PS Now I've changed my shoes to the new Yokohama IG60 - these winter ones are harder and more precise in comparison with the V105. So for stiffness and handling I wouldn't recommend the V105 and wouldn't buy them if I'm back at the time of purchase.
