This is a very good replacement faucet but if you have a Hans Grohe kitchen mixer it will need treatment. I explain: the replacement looks physically the same and fits the faucet stem but the faucet does not. First remove the included filter/strainer (easy), then note that the inner diameter of the replacement is smaller than the outer diameter of the Hans Grohe o-ring. the amount of plastic is the same from the inner surface. It is sufficient that the sealing ring fits snugly against the replacement. Applying a small amount of lubricant to the o-ring will help the insert. I left the HG filter on the supply line unchanged. Just be careful and don't expect to change your HG faucet along the way. (If he "dropped in" I'd give him 5 stars.)
