Not strong enough
My baby loves to bang against the wall sometimes, so I use this masking tape to tape a soft rug to the wall. I applied several layers of tape hoping it would hold. But my baby still pulled it out easily. Masking tape peels off easily but can sometimes remove a small amount of paint from the wall.
