Silicon dressings have so many uses. I used it after MOHs plastic surgery on my face to hold the dressing in place without using tape that would rip on my skin When changed 3/day. I just changed a small piece of telfa dressing beneath it and reused the same dressing on the outside. And you can do that with this dressing as long as you aren’t getting any drainage on it. I’ve been using this also as a protective dressing after the wound is healed as the Covid mask would rub against it otherwise when I go walking or to a store. It can be also used as a primary dressing but would need changing daily if there is any significant drainage. It helps with moist would healing And has moderate absorption properties.
