What can I say? This is a cup. A measuring cup, but not for cooking or baking, but for medicines. I have an elderly relative and I sometimes give him liquid medication, and of course I have to be precise about the amount. I can't just pour what feels right and give it to him! This mug measures anything up to one ounce. It seems pretty strong and durable to me. My elderly relative, who is in his nineties, has no trouble holding him down and taking medication. I love that I can be so precise about dosing his meds, and I love that we don't have to get a jar out of the cupboard every time he needs a dose of meds, which is about 3 times a day case is. You can also put pills in these cups to give to someone who needs them. I even used it to measure my mouthwash because my mouthwash is expensive and I really don't want to use more than I have to. Of course, I only use these cups once and then throw them away, but that's quite a lot. I know I will buy more.
