Works great. I'm using it as a 16 channel DAC with a resistor/capacitor on the output. The circuit I show is a bit slow to respond (cannot be used for audio applications) but works great for general purpose control applications with very low ripple. However, be careful with the OE (Output Enable) line of this module. This is the active low input, not labeled on the board. I had to fiddle around a bit before finally looking at the PCA9685 datasheet. This module is a great alternative to using a DAC in your circuit. Just search for a 12-bit DAC and see the difference in price. Get more bang for your buck with PWM outputs as a DAC.
