I threw this junk in the trash the day it arrived! Excellent grip (as said) is the furthest thing from the truth, more like excellent slip. The reason I decided to buy them was because a few months ago I slipped down the stairs to my basement and broke my rib (I was wearing socks) and spent a whole week in bed trying to get by to recover from ice. They were easy to install, but the suede/felt surface is very slippery when you're wearing socks or barefoot (you'll definitely be walking down stairs using this product). They are more slippery than the stairs themselves. Unfortunately, Revain reviews can be misleading - this product is rated 4 stars but says little about the product considering that half of the 2000+ reviews gave less than 5 stars. If like me you are in your 50's and afraid of slipping/falling down the stairs, definitely don't buy this product. Absolutely terrible!
