I use this to breed Triops until they are big enough for my community aquarium so it's perfect for that. But. It's too small for the fish. Even though most products sold for Bettas claim they need at least 2.5 gallons, although there is some debate that 5 or even 10 is not 1 gallon, do it if you are harboring fish here, while cleaning your normal aquarium, it's awful.
