I bought this for my 2016 Ford F150 3.6 XL 4WD. The reason I bought this one was to be able to use a dump trailer. If you already have a towing package, setting it up is too easy. I did all the setup including plugging in the forscan USB to show the truck's computer it was added in about twenty minutes. It was easy for my truck to know the tow pack as it is on my tow and sport steering column. There are many videos on YouTube showing you how to install and use forscan USB. Some people are having trouble with foscan because they didn't follow the instructions properly. You must enter the link to the website exactly as it is given in the instructions. I typed it wrong and the computer suggested a link and I clicked on it and it was spyware. He quickly backed out and dialed up the site, ignoring the computer's suggestion and gaining the right to access the site to access the truck's computer. Once installed and set up, squeeze the front handles on the trailer brake and you will see "Trailer Not Attached” light up on the dashboard. If you need to tow a tipper trailer, get this product now!
