I used this for cutting PVC and sealtight conduit for a project I was working on. (A mini split install.) I wanted something to make the job easier and work in tight places. I even found use with cutting wire bundles down to size. This made the job a lot easier because of that. I have sealtight coming from the wall mount evaporator to the condenser, and sealtight coming from the shut off outside to the condenser. I have rigid PVC going from the shutoff to the inside basement breaker. This made that job so much easier.
