Almost perfect for measuring and marking tools
SILIVN aluminum setting blocks came in a box marked 'brass setting blocks' but by weight it is aluminum . They are painted on all sides and have a logo on the back. I measured the ends of the 3/4", 1/2" and 1/4" blocks with vernier calipers and they were usually several thousand off the right size. They're great for setting up your table saw, drill etc. They come in an inexpensive plastic case with a foam pad that usually keeps the blocks in place.
