Purchased on 10/27/15. Worked perfectly for a while, screen looks great, amazingly easy to set up with my Macbook Pro (setup no longer working, just plug it in). A few months ago while watching a movie, the monitor would turn off and on intermittently during my movie. Luckily that happened towards the end of the movie so I was just getting through the remaining few minutes and not much was really happening when I was actively doing something (like typing or surfing the web) so I just forgot about it. Well it happened again during a very tense movie I saw a few minutes ago and I was furious. I am in the process of replacing the unit (15 month warranty) and will update as this process progresses. I just wanted to let you all know that if I were to buy a monitor again, I would be very cautious about purchasing this unit, to say the least. UPDATE: You have been informed that you cannot use your Dell monitor warranty without using a Dell computer. with valid guarantee. Even though I have a valid monitor warranty because I'm using it on a Mac, Dell won't even talk to me for free. When I type that, the screen turns off multiple times. Terrible monitor, never recommend. Too bad I never bought it.
