I had an older smaller Haier set for my tiny house (341 square feet well insulated). Sitting directly in front of it wouldn't make me feel stuffy, but other than that it didn't cool the room. I live in the hot humid south and after a heart attack I can't take the heat anymore. My heart starts pounding. Creepy. I bought this Honeywell last year and I love YOWZA and it probably saves my life. I turn it on and it gets better. Within 15 minutes the temperature drops by 5 degrees and after half an hour the humidity is great and the temperature is just what I need. Highly recommended! I don't have a window to use for an exhaust, so I traced the exhaust hose on the wall just behind it and cut a hole in the wall. I put the screen outside and voila, it works great.
