After about six months, I just replaced the filter cartridges for the first time and I must say I am extremely happy with this system. Our municipal water is highly variable and often smells like river water. I haven’t noticed a dip in taste or smell the entire time, even after the replacement reminder went off. It took me a couple of weeks to remember to order replacements and then replace them, but the water still tasted great. The only change was the water pressure dropped slightly toward the end, which is a normal and healthy sign of cartridge filters reaching their end of life. Install was easy, even though I had to drill a hole in our sink top to accommodate it as I didn’t want to give up our sprayer and the sink only had one pre-drilled hole. One nice feature I wasn’t expecting is that the faucet easily removes from the valve base making it easy to clean, which I’ve wanted to do when something splashes on it from the sink. Excellent product, top recommendation.
