When I first opened the tester, I tried it on a cable that I knew was good. Everything worked great with the device as stated in the operating instructions. I also tried a remote connection to see if it worked and I knew how to use it properly. Five minutes later I try it out on the cable to be tested. When I turned the device on, only the power light was on. Tried a few more times, even unplugged the battery, but still no luck. Just in case, I went back and tried the cable that worked before, but still only the power light came on. Today I get my block back. It was very cheap compared to other testers, so I knew it was a risk.
