Review on Black Ultra Pro Premium PRO Binder 9 Pocket For Magic The Gathering Mythic Edition by Amy Silakos

In case you were wondering why the packaging looks different from product reviews online, Ultra Pro (UP) has recently released a new run of the Mythic Edition 9 pocket binder. The new version of this product has slight differences in packaging compared to the old version from 2020. These changes include, but are not limited to:1) Different packaging as the box does not include the characteristic flip cover2) Mana symbols rather than Planeswalker crests for the packaging sheets inside the binder3) The copyright symbol on the box is from 2022 rather than from 2020.As a warning however, a UP representative would NOT directly confirm that all materials from this version are archival-safe as stated on their own website. (This claim is NOT made on the Walmart product page). Do note that the pages themselves are archival safe considering they are confirmed acid-free and non-PVC. If you are planning to use this binder for long-term storage due to the ENTIRE binder being archival-safe I would try to find the 2020 version instead. The build quality of the new version is still well-made.As a note, one of the two binders I received was likely a returned item as the packaging had wear and tear, and the binder itself opens more much more easily compared to the other one I had bought indicating some prior opening.
