These wire cutters make excellent wire cutters. They are excellent at cutting electrical conductors such as aluminum and copper. They are not made for steel. They will break, but you just need to know this before using them. They are extremely sharp flush. They form safe, non-cutting edges for electrical strips because they cut very straight and flush. The usual pair of "dykes" on the remains of the bandage have a sharp point and will easily cut the skin if you accidentally rub it. The only downside is the cheap plastic spring that should open the handles when closed. It doesn't hold onto the handles and got lost on first use. I just have to open them again with my little finger. I gave this tool a "4" because of the spring.
