I thought buying this boxing reflex ball was the stupidest, albeit fascinating, thing I've ever bought. Let me just say this was the most fun I had once I got the hang of it (hence the suggestion to get some eye protection). Obviously, the harder you hit (assuming you can hit first), the faster the ball will come back. I missed a few times and got hit in the eyes, although now I'm quick enough to dodge it (maybe! Ha). I still use the softest ball but you still feel the impact. At least I'm working on hitting the ball better and not missing it. It looks silly when you put it on, but the benefits of the hand-eye coordination training and exercises you get simply outweigh how you might look. So get it, and before you know it, you'd be hitting the ball easily for 30 minutes.
