That's all a Shure should have. Very good microphone at a good price. I use it as a table top/pedestal and it's great. Read the other reviews carefully so you know what you're getting. If you don't have an XLR jack where you want to use it, you'll have to order the base separately (picture is deceptive). So this isn't as good a deal as it seems at first glance - it's a long one. I ordered the 12" version. The gooseneck is 12" long, the mic head adds an inch, the connector adds another 4", and the base if you use one adds 2". So a 12" mic is actually 18-19" long. Fine for podium use, but an 18" would be unsuitable for the gig I originally ordered it for (thanks for the warning, Wheeler). He needs phantom power. saved because my zoom recorder has it.
