I used it on about 6 tires. 4 on 10 ply tires on work truck and 2 on regular pickup tires. This is the first kit I've had where the paste tool doesn't break after pinning 10 layers. Both the reamer and the socket tool are solid pieces of thick, durable metal. We had to use hammers to operate the reamer multiple times when the hole is small and the tool intact. The reamer makes a pretty big hole. You definitely need to be near the air pump when using it. I bought a regular can of cement with him because what they give doesn't last long, but it was less than $10 to make 100 tires so it doesn't matter much. I am happy with this kit and have just bought a second one for my everyday car. Highly recommended (1/4" drill with cordless drill as pilot hole makes reaming much easier)
